Once you get the basic daily men's skin care, you can try another men's skin care products if you like. They are often specialized in one aspect of skin care, so you might not need them all or any, but they just lay there as an option for you. Although we can talk about all the variations of products, we will focus this article on the most common three.
Pre shave oil
Pre shave oil, like shaving cream, helps soften the beard, but this is is for coarse beard hair. This product is most useful if you use an electric razor, because the pre shave oil will help the rotating blades glide easily on your skin. This in the end besides give you a smooth clean and close shave will help you battle irritations and burn. The shaving oil works for all types of skin, so don't worry about that.
To apply it, just massage a little amount on beard, wait around a minute to allow it to work, and then proceed to shaving. This should be done after cleansing.
Post shave spot treatment
The spot treatment will help eliminate hair and razor bumps, instead of spot treatment you can also find them as simply "ingrown hair treatment" or "razor bumps treatment". They are becoming more popular.
Ingrown hairs are a concern among men with black skin, and it occurs when the coarse hair curls back to the skin after shaving, penetrating it. As with the pre shave oil, this treatment works for all types of skin.
To apply it just put it on the affected area and let it rest every morning. This has to be done after shaving.
Eye Cream
The eye cream will reduce the fine lines around the eye area and the puffiness that you may have in the area as well. This occurs because of varying causes such as allergies, fatigue or even holding too much water before sleep.
To apply it use a small amount and massage gently around your eyes. Do this as long as you need it.
Lip Balm
The lip balms will help you avoid dry or chapped lips. It is not for cosmetic uses, like lip gloss. The lip balm will help you get those healthy lips back on. They are often used in climate that tends to dry your lips. To apply it is very easy, because it comes in the form of sticks, like lip sticks. Just rub it for some seconds and keep doing your things. Some people say lip balms cause addiction, despite some companies trying to prove the opposite.
