Taking Care of Your Electric Shaver
>
Let’s admit it. We men sometimes forget about maintaining our electric shavers, and it is not because we don’t care about it, but there are times when we need a quick shave, hurried, or are just plain lazy to leave it clean again. The results? Clogged up shavers, greasy razors, and even sometimes hidden rust!
First of all what we need to know is get to know our electric shaver, and by that I mean read the manual. We tend to think we already know it all, but a good read of the manual will make the electric shaver maintenance much easier. Ok, after you’ve given it a good read, there are a couple of things you can do to take care for your shaver.
-
When you shave, your facial hair will stay on the shaver, clogging it. This is very simple: Just remove the cutting head and blow it. Sometimes tapping it lightly on your other hand will do the trick. Do this after every few shaves, it also depends on your beard of courser.
-
Use electric shaver cleaning products. In cas you didn’t know, there are products made to clean your shaver, and they work very well. Just use them on the blades, and the solution will clean the blade while getting rid of the greasy bits at the same time.
If you haven’t bought an electric shaver, you should take in consideration how easy it is to maintain. There are very good products that make it very easy, but in the other hand we have electric shavers that I don’t think were ever made to be easily cleaned. In those cases, some parts of the shaver can break, or deteriorate. And remember a well treated electric shaver, means a well treated face.
