Body Hair Removal for Men

>

Should a man be hairy or should he shave? The truth is that the answer to this question is ever changing, and depends on what times you are living in. Now we are in a new millenium, and more and more men are starting to consider body hair removal to get the look they want.

Some do it to feel more “clean”, some do it to let the muscles show, and some do it for the ladies. Whatever the reason is, body hair removal has become part of a man's grooming and skin care.

Now, don’t just go to the bathroom, grab your razor and start spreading shaving cream all over your body your body. No, that’s not the best way to get rid of unwanted body hair. If you go ahead and do that, in two days, your skin will start itching like crazy! All those little hairs striving to get out to the surface again. And that’s not all, bumps may appear, you can cut yourself and… well, I wouldn’t recommend it. There are other methods for removing the hair. Let’s see what they are:

Waxing Body Hair Removal

Have you ever seen the movie “the 40 year old virgin”? Well, you can find there an approximation on how waxing is. The person in charge will heat wax until it is liquid and start pouring it over the desired area. A special paper then is put on top of the wax, while it’s hot and then you'll have to wait for the wax to cool off. Your hair will be stuck to it, and now is just a matter of plucking it. Painful? Well yes, but remember that brave women do this every day!

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is becoming increasingly popular. It involves attacking the pigment of the hair with laser. Is intended to cause thermal damage to the hair follicle without damaging surrounding tissues. It takes half a year to get rid of the hair completely, nut it can last several months or be permanent. But (there’s always a catch) it is expensive, the lowest priced treatments are available at $500, and you have to consult if it will work fine in your type of body hair.

Electrolysis

If you don’t like needles this is not your thing. In this process, a needle is inserted under your skin, and then electricity is used to destroy the hair follicle. This is permanent, no more hairs ever thanks to the destruction of the follicle. This might be perfect for some people, but the price is higher than the price of the laser hair removal. When talking about electrolysis, is hard to find prices lower than $1000, but again, you might consider it is worthy.

Whatever you do, if it is permanent think well about it. There is enough space for hairy or shaven man in this world, so both options are OK. It is all about you looking good, and feeling even better with yourself.
